Olive oil is not just another oil
The word “oil” is perceived to be incompatible with the term “health benefits”.
Olive oil is different more so when it’s used with other healthy, minimally processed or unprocessed foods.
The Extra Virgin variety (EVOO) is the best form of olive oil. EVOO contains more unsaturated healthy fat than unhealthy saturated fat having Lower levels of LDL, which is a “bad” cholesterol.It has antioxidants and is a constant ingredient in the Mediterranean diet, considered as a healthy food style.
